איוריו מופיעים לעתים קרובות בעיתון 'ניו יורק טיימס'. כן פרסם כמה ספרים ואייר רבים אחרים. חלק ניכר מעבודתו מוקדש לנושאים יהודיים, ועוסק באופן מיוחד במשמעות האותיות העבריות. איוריו לספר 'שלמה המלך וטבעת הקסם', שחיבר אלי ויזל, זכו במדליית כסף של איגוד המאיירים ב-1999.


American Jewish painter, illustrator, author and doctor. Born in New York, he is well-known for his political and social illustrations in the New York Time's OP-ED page. He is the author and illustrator of books for children as well as for adults. Much of his work centers on Jewish legends, history and tradition and especially the significance of the Hebrew alphabet. His book King Solomon and His Magic Ring, a collaboration with Elie Wiesel, won a Silver Medal from the Society of Illustrators in 1999.
