American photographer, lecturer and author. Her photography is done in the studio, focusing on the human body, on flowers and on the search for the spiritual in the inanimate. Her series "The American Body" consists of photographs of the human figure, shot from below Plexiglas is both an exploration of the properties of her materials and of the hidden significance of the body, placed in unaccustomed poses and with unusual objects.
